Illuminated Corridor

February 24, 2010

This was taken at the Lightner Museum in St. Augustine. It’s always fun to work with a good combination of the elements of geometry, symmetry, light, and shadow. Producing this in black and white was an easy decision to come to as the scene really had very little color in it to begin with.

      Thanks Kathleen,

I happen to know though that your print of this scene is just as nice.

I love this scene, Jim. I often make photos of just this type of scene with the long hall and columns; but none of them have come out as lovely as this one. Beautiful texture, depth and detail.
