Yummy!

April 22, 2010

Well the food photography workshop went well the other night, here are a few of the shots I made while demonstrating some basic techniques. I want to give special thanks to Bill at Teatro restaurant in Ybor City for providing such a nice venue and excellent fare for us to photograph and eat. A lot of work on his part went into prepping enough food for 25 people to photograph and eat.

I also promised those that attended that if they wanted to forgo writing notes during my presentation I would post my outline. It is posted here on it’s own page for review. Feel free to copy or bookmark it for your own reference if you wish.

I sure wish I had made this one. Beautiful job on these, Jim. There’s nothing worse than food photography that isn’t true colors. Some of it looks spoiled. Yours is exactly the opposite. It makes me want to try it.

Thanks for posting the outline. Maybe I’ll get a chance to go to this class the next time it’s repeated.
