Small World

June 1, 2010

Well it was a relaxing holiday weekend and I spent a bit of time training my lens on the kind of wildlife that usually doesn’t even get noticed. Ever since I was a kid I was fascinated with tiny little insects, spiders, centipedes, and the like. The smaller they were the more interesting they were to me. I felt in some way like I was reliving a bit of my childhood as I hunted intently among various plants and weeds for little critters to practice my macro photography with. This is the first one that I encountered so it is the first one that I’m posting here this week. Don’t get too creeped out by the little spider. In reality it was about the size of the letter K on your keyboard.
