Cigars and Candy

September 23, 2010

I had the opportunity to make a few shots with Candy again last night and we spent some time in a cigar shop down the street from the studio. I fell in love with brushed copper bar top. It looked great with the ambient light in the place. I set up a single light behind the bar and came up with this image that made good use of the bar as a compositional element while still keeping Candy as the center of attention.

    Jim:

A very creative capture. It’s interesting how people can come up with such different pictures / perspectives when at the same location.
