Georgia Sunflowers

October 22, 2010

On the way up to Tennessee yesterday we took a scenic detour through Tifton Georgia and came across several beautiful fields of sunflowers. We secured permission from the landowner to head into the fields with our cameras and shot a ton of pics before heading into the center of town for a country buffet lunch. We filled up on fried chicken livers, gizzards, grits, fried okra and the like before getting back on the highway and continuing our journey.

Beautiful colors – sunflower and sky!! I like the “motion effect” of the second photo. I want to know more about it. Enjoy your time!
