Slash

November 24, 2010

The first two days of this week were real killers. Wound up having publication deadlines for four clients on the same day – Tuesday. One was a magazine cover that I shot Monday night.  Going through the process of doing a twilight/night shoot on location, editing the shoot, providing proofs, going through the client selection process, processing and retouching final selections, and uploading high-res files for publication by the following afternoon can be a rather grueling process. Throw in 3 more clients needing material from recent shoots to be processed and delivered on the same day and things go from grueling to downright exhausting. I am very much looking forward to relaxing on the with family and friends on the holiday tomorrow. With all the complexities of the last 2 days I wanted something minimalist to work on for today’s journal entry: a single strand of spider’s web I found in the woods last week.
