On the Red Carpet

These are a few of the shots from the set I put together for Tyra Sanchez, a contestant on the current season of the reality television show RuPaul’s Drag Race. It actually wasn’t all that bad organizing the “paparazzi”. Being photographers they understood what we were trying to achieve and didn’t need a lot of direction or coaching. The real work went into the technical side of things: actually lighting the scene to have the right look and working out a way to have several of the other flash units trigger simultaneously during the shot.
